MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER

Park Place Home Mortgage is seeking an experienced and actively licensed Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team of highly qualified professionals.

Industry experience on the broker side is a big plus.

 

This is a remote commission only position. Compensation is paid in the form of a 1099 on a bi-monthly basis. Compensation is commensurate with experience,

The primary responsibility of a Park Place Home Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) is to originate and close residential and commercial mortgage loans.

Our most successful MLOs come to us with the following skills and knowledge:

  • Expert knowledge of the mortgage industry, lenders, and product types.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively and directly with clients, processors, banks, underwriters, attorneys, title, and insurance companies.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive with strong attention-to-detail and multi-tasking.
  • Accomplishing tasks in a timely fashion and in accordance with company guidelines and state regulations.
  • Proficiency with Calyx Point/Zenly

Our successful MLOs are proactive and diligent from origination to closing.

  • Gathering client’s credit, asset, and income information to determine type of loan they may qualify for. Obtain social security and permission to run a credit report.
  • Analyzing client’s financial status, credit, subject property, and other relevant information to determine feasibility of applicant obtaining the loan, and which lender(s) might make the loan.
  • Explaining the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the rates and terms of those services (Park Place Home Mortgage uses Lender Price to help narrow down the best lenders from our large network of wholesale lenders).
  • With information obtained from the client, completing a loan application (1003) and related documentation in the Loan Operating System.
  • Experienced, active, and good standing and utilizes market opportunities via networking, social media and have a network and book of business
  • Experienced with purchase and refinance loans

We work with a large network of lenders allowing our Loan Officers more options for their clients and more avenues to get deals closed. Our Loan Officers use Lender Price to easily price scenarios with our wholesale lenders. Our IT systems enable the Loan Officers to work efficiently.

Loan Officers always get paid everything they are due, on time! Unlike many companies, they do not incur expenses associated with being an employee. We pay for credit reports, rapid rescores, NMLS licensing (based on performance)

We offer processing and back-office support putting the Loan Officer the best possible position to get loans closed.

Duties:
